\u201cInventory coming onto the market during this year\u2019s spring buying season<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 as evidenced again by last month\u2019s weak reading \u2013 was not even close to being enough to satisfy demand.<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

That is why home prices keep outpacing incomes and listings are going under contract in less than a month \u2013 and much faster \u2013 in many parts of the country.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The latest\u00a0Existing Home Sales\u00a0Report<\/a><\/u><\/em>\u00a0shows that there is currently\u00a0a\u00a04.1-month supply<\/strong>\u00a0of homes for sale. This remains lower than the 6-month supply necessary for a normal market, and\u00a06.1% lower than last year\u2019s inventory level.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anything less than a six-month supply is considered a\u00a0\u201cseller\u2019s market<\/a><\/u>.\u201d<\/p>\n
